Q. Who are you and where are you from?

A. We’re a furniture and wood turning manufacture based in Essex, we have been established for coming up 40 years now and have progressed from a small one man, one machine outfit into a modern large factory with a range of machinery employing some 15 people.

Q. What, and you produce everything in house?

A. All of the products you can see are produced at our site, using high quality redwood (that’s pine to you and me) and European oak.

Q. Can we see any of your products before we buy?

A. We do have a small showroom on the premises which has many of the products on show. If you wish to have a day out you are more than welcome to come and view the products on show. If you are looking to view specific items, then it is advised you make arrangements before hand for us to allow us time to get them ready.

Q. Does that mean we can pick up from there?

A. Of course! If you wish to place an order with us, we will manufacture the product and then drop you a line when it’s ready for collection. Then you are more than welcome to come down and visit us, to be honest we need the company.

Q. How long am I going to have to wait for my furniture?

A. We aim to deliver every item within 8 to10 weeks, for our turned products, we aim to deliver within 10 to 15 working days, but wherever possible this will be a lot shorter. There is the expected delivery time attached to the information on each item, this represents the maximum amount of time you should expect to wait for each product. Where there are multiple products on order please allow the maximum time of the longest product delivery so as to keep transport down to a minimum! If there’s ever a problem with a delivery we will contact you immediately.

Q. But I need the furniture for the weekend, we’ve got people coming, What do I do?

A. Don’t panic!! We’re here to help! Send us an email via the contact us header at the top of the page. We aim to check all emails every hour within the working day. We will be able to let you know what’s in stock at the time ready for dispatch and send it as soon as possible.

Q. How do I look after my table?

A. We have made it as easy as possible, there are some things you can do to keep you table in top condition for years, please see our care guide for details.

Q. Are there an hidden costs?

A. No way, the price you see includes Vat  is contained within the product information. Delivery costs are worked out on check out stage. No hidden extras.

Q. Can I find out about delivery costs, before hand?

A. We aim to make this as clear as possible, please see our delivery page for full details.

Q. What will you do if my goods are faulty?

A. Please don’t worry, We take a lot of care in what we produce but accidents do happen and in the unlikely event there is a problem please contact us as soon as possible. We will then arrange a collection and exchange. Please see our returns page for details

Q. How easy is the flat pack furniture to put together?

A. If you can use a screwdriver and there is someone to give you a hand then its pretty easy. All of the holes are pre-drilled and all fixing provided, for a sample of the instructions please see our samples page.

Q. I am looking for a particular product that is not listed on your website.

A. We advertise the majority of our available stock on our web site. We do also produce other timber products and offer a bespoke woodturning service.

Q. I found the product I want to buy but I have seen it cheaper somewhere else.

A. If you have found exactly the same product for cheaper then please email or call us and we will aim to beat their price.
