Upon Receipt of Delivery

You should check your order in full promptly on delivery. If your delivery is incomplete or includes products that you have not ordered, you must notify customer services WITHIN FIVE WORKING DAYS, due to the nature of the product any errors or omissions notified after this time cannot be refunded or replaced.

Stair Parts Orders & Delivery

FOR PINE ORDERS, THESE WILL BE DISPATCHED WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS, PRIMED ORDERS ARE USUALLY DISPATCHED WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS AND ANY OAK PRODUCTS ARE MADE TO ORDER, THEREFORE DELIVERY CAN BE UP TO 10 WORKING DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE ORDER.

IN SOME INSTANCES, DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, TIMBER AVAILABILITY, HOLIDAY SEASONS OR BANK HOLIDAYS THERE MAY BE SOME DELAYS MEANING ORDERS MAY TAKE UP TO 15 DAYS FOR DELIVERY.

  • Delivery costs charged are for MAINLAND UK ONLY.
  • Please contact us for Ireland, Scottish Isles, Scottish Highlands, all Offshore Islands and European delivery rates.
  • NEXT DAY DELIVERY – please contact us.
  • Carriage charges are applied by weight.

Table Delivery

 

We will email you when your product has gone into production. Once this has been sent, we will be unable to amend your product.

When your order is ready for delivery, we will contact you by email or text. You will then need to call us to arrange a delivery date.

We will confirm your delivery booking by email.

Where possible, we will notify you approximately an hour before we are due to deliver.

Mainland England: one man delivery, assistance will be required to unload.

For Tables and Benches in Wales & Central Scotland*: £45 one man delivery, assistance will be required to unload.

If you require two man delivery there is an additional cost of £80.00, please get in touch to request and set up.

For any other area of the UK including Northern Ireland and Ireland, please get in touch for a quote.

For Faster deliveries we can, in most cases, offer an express service, there is an additional £100 for this service. The express service is usually 3- 4 weeks from order. To find out more about this service please contact our offices on 01787 475456 or email us at sales@richman-uk.com

We aim to deliver thought the working week, between the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Once delivery is confirmed you have until 72 hours before this time to rearrange, notification after this time may result in a re-delivery charge.

All above details are for three items to a ground floor location.

Terms and Conditions of delivery

Our couriers have a busy schedule and your delivery will be planned in advance to ensure the ‘greenest’ route. You will be notified in advance of this date, and given an opportunity to change it should you need to.

Any delays due to non-access, late cancellations, or any other reason, will be subject to a re-delivery charge based on the number of items in the order. The minimum cost will be £115.00. This will be charged directly by the courier and will require payment prior to re-scheduling your delivery.

The delivery driver will require assistance in unloading your item(s) and getting them inside your property. Please ensure that there is someone there to offer assistance. If you would prefer a two man delivery team, please let us know at time of order. There is a surcharge of £80.00 for this. Important Note: Depending on the size of your table, the weight can be up to 115kg.

Access

Our couriers reserve the right to refuse any deliveries that are not deemed safe for them to carry out.

They will not lift furniture over fencing or other obstructions and cannot remove doors to widen spaces.

There must be adequate space to allow for very large tables to get to the chosen room and access must be simple and safe. Any other furniture or trip hazards should be moved in advance and floor covers used by the customer to avoid possibly dirty footprints.

Parking

There must be sufficient parking close to the property to enable our couriers to unload and deliver items safely and efficiently.

If there are any parking restrictions we should be made aware of this at the point of order. We will not be able to deliver unless we have any necessary permission or permits which will be the responsibility of the customer to provide.

Assembly

All of our items are flat packed and will be assembled on site should this be required. If you would like your table to be kept flat packed, please let us know at point of order.

Accepting Delivery

The items must be examined on arrival. If asked for a signature, all items should be fully checked before signing for them. We cannot be responsible for any damage or faults not reported at the point of delivery.

Any delivery dates or time slots given are estimates only.  While we will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the goods within the time slot agreed we will not be responsible for any losses caused to the customer as a result of late delivery, and are unable to offer compensation if the agreed delivery date is missed or cancelled.

Other

Although we will always attempt to have deliveries made in one consignment, we reserve the right to have goods delivered in more than one consignment, unless otherwise agreed.

Parcel Courier

If your order weighs over 20kg it will be delivered using a dedicated parcel courier service.
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver outside of the UK Mainland, this includes the Isle of Wight.
The parcel courier delivery service may be subject to change. If this occurs, you will be contacted prior to delivery.
